Pizza Really Can Be Nutritious


My strong Italian background always included pizza made at home. When I was growing up it was made with the typical white flour but the tomatoes were always home grown and the pizza was topped with fresh basil.  Our real pizza never had cheese or meat on it.  I’ve taken our pizza to a whole new level.  The dough is made with white whole wheat flour and the toppings are wonderfully grilled to perfection. My mom and Nonna would be so proud!
