Roasted Red Pepper and Walnut Spread

A rich tasting dip for vegetables or whole grain crackers.
Preparation Time: Minimal

 

Preparation:

Roasted Red Pepper and Walnut Spread (Muhammara)

2 – 3 roasted red bell peppers (fresh or from jar)

2/3 cup chickpeas

1 cup walnuts

4 large garlic cloves

1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice

1 tsp. ground cumin

1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes (or to taste)

Blend, or process in food processor – enjoy
