I’ve been in the healthcare industry for almost 39 years. From nursing in the hospital critical care unit to running the Cardiac Rehab program, to working for “Big Pharma” for eight years, then being a head nurse for an assisted living facility, a school nurse and Case Manager teaching health and wellness to those with complicated health conditions. All of which were frustrating positions, I couldn’t make the impact that needed to happen. And why? Because I couldn’t be louder than the corporations driven by only one thing, Profit.
